Lisa A. Poch – Associate

Lisa Poch joined Chiacchia & Fleming, LLP in 2007. Though she handles a variety of legal matters, her practice is focused on representing people who have been seriously injured in accidents and other mishaps, as well as labor and employment matters and criminal law. She practices in both the state and federal courts of New York. Ms. Poch graduated, with distinction, from the University of Toronto in 2005 with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in political science and history. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Buffalo Law School in 2008 and earned the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
Ms. Poch was named a Rising Star for plaintiff’s personal injury litigation by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
While at the University of Buffalo, Ms. Poch participated in the school’s trial team program, representing the school at various trial competitions nationwide and receiving high accolades for her skills as an advocate. A native Western New Yorker, Ms. Poch is an active volunteer with Hospice Buffalo and currently serves as the attorney advisor for the Frontier High School Mock Trial Team. She also serves on the Foundation Board for Western New York United Against Drugs & Alcohol.
Lisa is admitted to practice in all of the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She has argued appeals before the New York State Appellate Division, New York State Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She is a member of the Erie County and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
Lisa and her husband, Jason, reside in the Village of Hamburg with their two sons, and enjoy traveling.
