Christen Archer Pierrot joined Chiacchia & Fleming as an associate attorney in 2003. Though Ms. Pierrot routinely handles a variety of legal matters, her practice is mainly dedicated to the areas of labor and employment, ERISA (employee benefits), constitutional rights violations, and criminal matters. Ms. Pierrot has developed considerable experience in handling employee benefit claims, including disability insurance, pension and retirement, and life insurance issues, many of which she has been able to successfully resolve without the need for litigation. Additionally, Ms. Pierrot has developed extensive experience preparing and arguing appeals before both the state level appellate courts and the federal Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Pierrot is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in New York State, the Western District of the United States District Court, and the Second Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. Ms. Pierrot received her law degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Law, where she earned special recognition for her appellate advocacy skills, and her bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, from SUNY College at Buffalo, earning special honors for her excellence in philosophy.
Ms. Pierrot, a life-long Western New Yorker, lives in East Aurora with her husband and two children.
