Episcopal Priest Settles Suit
In a case that received widespread media attention throughout Western New York, both television and print media, a Reverand settled his case against a Bishop, serving as the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York and St. James Church of Batavia. Andy Fleming handled the case. Christen Pierrot assisted. The amount of the settlement is "confidential," but in addition to paying a Fryer, he received a written formal apology from the Bishop and is to be reinstated to the order. The case settled on the third day of the trial before Judge John Michalek in State Supreme Court.
